#1: Lil Nas X ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ – ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ by Lil Nas X holds #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a second week. This week it claimed a Gold accreditation. The track has so far notched up four straight weeks at #1 in the UK.
#4: The Weeknd ‘Save Your Tears’ – After five weeks out of the Top Ten, The Weeknd’s ‘Save Your Tears’ jumps up 15 spots to hit a new peak at #4. Originally peaking at #6 in February/March, the resurgence of the single comes after the release of a remix featuring Ariana Grande.
#5: Doja Cat Feat. SZA ‘Kiss Me More’ – In its third week on the chart, Doja Cat’s ‘Kiss Me More’ moves from #8 to #5. It sits one spot below here career peak set with ‘Say So’ (#4 Mar. ’20).
#35: Aurora ‘Runaway’ – Aurora makes her ARIA Top 50 debut with ‘Runaway’. First released in 2015 on the Norwegian singer-songwriter’s debut EP Running with the Wolves, the popularity of the song has swelled recently after going viral on TikTok. The single also featured on Aurora’s debut album, 2016’s All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend.

Albums Chartifacts:
#1: Justin Bieber ‘Justice’ – Justin Bieber’s Justice returns to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart for a third week. It becomes the most weeks the Canadian star has spent at #1 on the Albums Chart, taking over from My Worlds (#1 May ’10). Four tracks from Justice are in the Singles Chart Top 50 this week: ‘Peaches’ (#3), ‘Hold On’ (#18), ‘Anyone’ (#30) and ‘Holy’ (#43)
#26: Spacey Jane ‘Sunlight’ – Spacey Jane’s Sunlight jumps from #43 to #26 in its 21st week in the Top 50. The move comes as the band head into the final couple of weeks of their national tour in support of the former #2 album.
#27: Porter Robinson ‘Nurture’ – American electronic producer Porter Robinson returns with second album, Nurture. It comes more than six years on from his debut, Worlds (#13 Aug. ’14). The album was originally scheduled for release in September 2020 but was put back due to COVID19. The change in release date gave Robinson a chance to change and extend the album’s track listing.
#34: John Lennon ‘John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band’ – John Lennon’s iconic first solo album, John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band, returns to the Top 50 in Australia for the first time since its original issue. Released in December 1970 in the wake of the break-up of The Beatles, the album’s been reissued to mark its 50th anniversary. The album features the single ‘Mother’, as well as Lennon classics ‘Love’, ‘God’ and ‘Working Class Hero’. Standalone singles ‘Give Peace A Chance’, ‘Cold Turkey’ and ‘Instant Karma (We All Shine On)’ have been included as bonus tracks. A number of different editions have been issued including an eight-disc box set featuring outtakes, jams, demos and alternate mixes. John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band peaked at #3 in Australia in June 1971.

I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
