Album Highlights:
#1: Adele ‘30’ – For the sixth consecutive week, British superstar Adele tops both the ARIA Albums Chart and the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart with her fourth album, 30.
#2: Michael Bublé ‘Christmas’ – Michael Bublé’s Christmas moves up from #5 to hit its highest peak for 2021. This week marks the 2011 album’s 65th week in the ARIA Top Ten.
#15: Tame Impala ‘Currents’ – The week’s highest re-entry comes from Tame Impala’s ARIA Award-winning 2015 album Currents after a surge in vinyl sales. The Perth act’s third studio album has notched up 42 weeks in the Top 50.
#23: Soundtrack ‘Sing 2’ – The soundtrack to Sing 2 makes its debut on this week’s Albums Chart, five years on from the original movie’s soundtrack. The album includes an original song by U2, ‘Your Song Saved My Life’, plus performances by Taron Egerton, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson and many more. The soundtrack to the original Sing film peaked at #2 in January 2017
#29: Soundtrack ‘Encanto’ – Featuring original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the soundtrack to new Disney animated film Encanto makes its chart debut at #29. Featuring songs in both English and Spanish, the album includes performances from Stephanie Beatriz, John Leguizamo, Rhenzy Feliz, Carolina Gaitán and Diane Guerrero, among others.

#1: Mariah Carey ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ – Mariah Carey has triumphed again, hitting #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for an unprecedented fourth straight year with her festive season classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You. The American star’s single – which was originally released in 1994 – also hit #1 in Australia in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
This week’s Top 50 is dominated by Christmas songs due to the beginning of the chart week including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
