Singles Highlights:
#1: Olivia Rodrigo ‘Good 4 U’ – Olivia Rodrigo holds #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a second straight week with ‘Good 4 U’. Like last week, the American singer-songwriter has ten tracks in this week’s Top 50; four of those being in the Top Ten. Only ‘Traitor’ has a new peak, moving from #7 to #5.
#6: The Weeknd ‘Save Your Tears’ – The Weeknd’s ‘Save Your Tears’ jumps up ten spots to return for an eleventh week in the Top Ten. The move comes after the Canadian artist and Ariana Grande performed their remix of the track at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles last week.
#28: Bella Poarch ‘Build A B**ch’ – In its second week in the Top 50, ‘Build A B**ch’ by American social media personality Bella Poarch jumps up eight spots to claim a new peak at #28.
#37: Majestic vs. Boney M ‘Rasputin’ – Majestic’ remix of Boney M’s ‘Rasputin’ climbs ten spots to a new peak at #37. The song continues to be popular on TikTok with the trend’s accompanying dance originating from the 2010 video game, Just Dance 2.
#47: Tom Grennan ‘Little Bit Of Love’ – British singer-songwriter Tom Grennan makes his ARIA Top 50 debut at #47 with ‘Little Bit Of Love’. Already a Top Ten hit in the UK, the track comes from Grennan’s second album, Evering Road, which debuted at #1 in the UK in March.

#1: Olivia Rodrigo ‘SOUR’ – American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo sits at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for a second week with SOUR. Since debuting in the top spot last week, Rodrigo’s debut album topped charts around the world including in the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand and Sweden.
#3: Shannon Noll ‘Raw’ – Former Australian Idol runner-up Shannon Noll scores his seventh Top Ten album on the ARIA Charts with Raw. The album features acoustic re-workings of some of his biggest hits including ‘What About Me’ (#1 Feb. ’04) and ‘Shine’ (#1 Oct. ’05). Raw also features new songs and covers. Noll last charted with Unbroken (#7 Feb. ’18). He’s scored #1s with That’s What I’m Talking About (#1 Feb. ’04) and Lift (#1 Oct. ’05).
#7: The Veronicas ‘Godzilla’ – Brisbane duo The Veronicas claim their fourth Top Ten album as they release Godzilla. The first album in seven years from the Origliasso sisters features the chart-topping single ‘In My Blood’ (#1 Jul. ’16), as well as ‘The Only High’ (#41 Jun. ’17). It’s the first of two albums The Veronicas will release in as many months, with Human following on 25 June. The Veronicas have previously appeared on the Albums Chart with The Secret Life Of… (#2 Apr. ’06), Hook Me Up (#2 Nov. ’07) and The Veronicas (#2 Dec. ’14).
#13: Allday ‘Drinking with My Smoking Friends’ – Allday hits this week’s chart at #13 with Drinking with My Smoking Friends. The Adelaide singer-songwriter/rapper’s fourth studio album is the follow-up to Starry Night Over the Phone (#7 Jul. ’19) and continues his run of Top 20 appearances that began with the EP Loners Are Cool (#18 Apr. ’13).
#17: Juice WRLD ‘Goodbye & Good Riddance’ – Following a reissue, Juice WRLD’s debut album Goodbye & Good Riddance scores a new peak at #17. Released in May 2018, the album made its chart debut at #39 in December 2019. The new edition of the album features the new track ‘734’ and a remix of ‘Lucid Dreams’ featuring Lil Uzi Vert.
#29: Sef Lemelin ‘Modulation’ – Canadian artist Sef Lemelin makes his ARIA Charts debut with Modulation. Lemelin is a member of Your Favorite Enemies, along with Alex Henry Foster who charted in April with Standing Under Bright Lights (#6 Apr. ’21).
#32: Moby ‘Reprise’ – Reimagining tracks from his back catalogue, Moby scores his first Top 50 entry since 2013 at #32 with Reprise. The album includes tracks from throughout the American’s career, including chart-topping albums Play (#1 Jul. ’00) and 18 (#1 May ’02). Reprise includes collaborations with Mark Lanegan, Kris Kristofferson, Alice Skye, Skylar Grey, Jim James and more. Moby last charted with Innocents (#35 Oct. ’13).
#43: Ed Kuepper ‘Singles ’86-’96’ – Iconic Australian singer-songwriter/guitarist Ed Kuepper returns to the ARIA Top 50 for the first time in over 25 years as he debuts at #43 with Singles ’86-’96. The album comprises all of the a-sides released by the former Saints and Laughing Clowns member between 1986 and 1996. Kuepper last appeared on the chart with Character Assassination (#32 Aug. ’94). Kuepper is currently on tour in a duo with drummer Jim White of The Dirty Three.

I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
