#1: Cardi B Feat. Megan Thee Stallion ‘WAP’ – Hitting its fifth week at #1, Cardi B’s ‘WAP’ breaks the record for the most weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart by a female-lead hip hop song, taking over from Salt-N-Pepa’s ‘Let’s Talk About Sex’ (#1 Jan. ’92).
#3: Joel Corry & MNEK ‘Head & Heart’ – In its seventh week in the Top 50, Joel Corry and MNEK’s collaboration moves up one spot to claim a new peak at #3. The track spent six weeks in the top spot in the UK, the most weeks spent at #1 during 2020.
#13: Internet Money, Gunna Feat. Don Toliver, NAV ‘Lemonade’ – American hip-hop collective Internet Money jump up 34 spots to #13 with ‘Lemonade’. Featuring contributions from American rapper Gunna, American singer Don Toliver and Canadian rapper Nav, it appears on Internet Money’s album B4 The Storm (#43 Sept. ’20).
#15: Jason Derulo ‘Take You Dancing’ – Jason Derulo’s follow-up to ‘Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)’ (#1 Jul. ’20) continues its climb up the chart, this week moving seven spots to #15. ‘Take You Dancing’ is also currently sitting just outside of the Top Ten in the UK and New Zealand.
#41: Machine Gun Kelly, blackbear ‘My Ex’s Best Friend’ – Machine Gun Kelly scores his first Top 50 entry in two years as he teams up with blackbear for ‘My Ex’s Best Friend’. The track comes from the American artist’s forthcoming fifth album, Tickets To My Downfall, set for release on 25 September. It’s Machine Gun Kelly’s third Top 50 single and the first since ‘Rap Devil’ (#45 Sept. ’18).

#1: Marilyn Manson ‘We Are Chaos’ – American shock rocker Marilyn Manson scores his second #1 album on the ARIA Albums Chart as he releases his eleventh album, We Are Chaos. The follow-up to Heaven Upside Down (#4 Oct. ’17) becomes his seventh Top Ten in Australia. It sees Manson teaming up with country musician Shooter Jennings for production and songwriting duties. Marilyn Manson’s only other time at #1 was in September 1998 with his third album Mechanical Animals. We Are Chaos also tops the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart this week.
#2: Vika & Linda ‘Sunday (The Gospel According To Iso)’ – After scoring their first ever #1 album in June with ‘Akilotoa: Anthology (1994-2006), the Bull sisters – Vika & Linda – score their second Top Three entry in three months with Sunday (The Gospel According To Iso). The duo’s sixth studio album is their first since 2006’s Between Two Shores and the first to chart since Two Wings (#34 Aug. ’99). The concept for Sunday (The Gospel According To Iso)came out of Vika & Linda’s Sunday Sing Song livestreams posted on their Facebook page during the COVID-19 lockdown. The album includes 12 gospel tracks plus an original written by Kasey Chambers and Harry Hookey.
#6: Harry Styles ‘Fine Line’ – After the postponement of his Australian tour, which was set to happen in November, Harry Styles moves up four spots to #6 with Fine Line and nine spots to #38 with his self-titled debut.
#40: Melody Moko ‘Two Kids & A Radio’ – Newcastle singer-songwriter Melody Moko makes her ARIA Top 50 debut at #40 with Two Kids & A Radio. The Americana artist’s second studio album comes three years on from her debut, 2017’s The Wreckage.
