. . . . . . . . . . . My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences. Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”. Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook. Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere. This week’s

Tension marks Minogue’s best-ever #1 run
Four-time 2023 ARIA Award nominee Kylie Minogue rushes straight to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart this week with Tension, marking her fourth consecutive #1 and her best run ever on the ARIA Charts.
Her eighth chart-topper in Australia, Tension is Kylie’s 16th studio album, stretching back to Kylie in 1988. Kylie’s previous #1 albums in Australia are Light Years in 2000, Fever in 2001, X in 2007, Kiss Me Once in 2014, Golden in 2018, Step Back In Time: The Definitive Collection in 2019 and Disco in 2020.
The 16-time ARIA Award winner has also had 10 #1 singles in Australia, from Locomotion in 1987 to 2 Hearts in 2007. Tension’s lead single, Padam Padam, is nominated for Best Solo Artist, Best Pop Release, Best Independent Release and Song of the Year at this year’s ARIA Awards.
Public voting for Song of the Year is open now, cast your vote here.
ARIA CEO, Annabelle Herd, said: “All hail the queen. On behalf of everyone at ARIA, and as a superfan, it is my absolute pleasure to congratulate Kylie for her fourth consecutive #1 album debut. It’s a thrill to see an ARIA Hall of Fame artist continue to dominate, reinvent and represent Australian music on such a global scale. We can’t wait to celebrate her success at this year’s awards.”
Continuing the Australian success, Holy Holy debut at #4 with Cellophane, the band’s fifth studio album and their third top 10 entry. Paint peaked at #7 in 2017 and Hello My Beautiful World got to #4 in 2021.
Thy Art Is Murder are also new at #31 with Godlike, the sixth studio album from the Australian deathcore band. Holy War reached #7 in 2015 and Dear Desolation topped out at #5 in 2017.
Doja Cat debuts at #5 with Scarlet, her second top 10 album here after Planet Her hit #2 in 2021, while Stephen Sanchez is new at #23 with his debut album Angel Face.
On the Singles Chart, Doja Cat scores another week at #1 with Paint The Town Red, its sixth consecutive week at the top.
South African-born, UK-based singer Kenya Grace continues her charge up the chart, with Strangers jumping from #6 to #2.
Finally, Troye Sivan has a good week, with Rush stepping back up from #31 to #24 – it peaked at #12 earlier this year – and his new single Got Me Started flies into the top 40, debuting at #31. His new album, Something To Give Each Other, drops next month. Sivan is nominated for six ARIA Awards this year: Best Pop Release, Best Produced Release, Best Engineered Release (Styalz Fuego), Best Produced Release (Styalz Fuego), Best Electronic/Dance Release and the publicly-voted Song Of The Year.
