Sydney based artist Thomas James Mahony champions earnestness and channels raw emotion. Mahony creates soulful music with an old-time charm and a contemporary complexion, adding to the sense of timelessness that surrounds his songs.
Mahony has played piano since the age of seven, later attending the Conservatorium of Music. His penchant for classical piano led him to write ballads inspired by Elton John and Billy Joel, and he would later incorporate moody electronic influences into his songwriting, taking cues from the likes of James Blake and Bon Iver.
Mahony debuted in 2023 with the release of his single ‘Rough’. He has since captured hearts and minds with multiple releases.
