Swedish modern metal monsters Thrown left a mark on Australia when they debuted their live show supporting Alpha Wolf on a fully sold out tour in August, now equipped with their debut album ‘Excessive Guilt’ out now via Arising Empire, they announce their return. Thrown will headline across the country with special guests Half Me and Diesect in February 2025 – tickets on sale now via Destroy All Lines.
Debuting in 2021 with the single greyout, Thrown have quickly become one of the hottest acts in the heavy scene, mesmerising the metal world with their signature blend of aural violence, live intensity and enigmatic performances. The quartet currently sit on well over a million monthly listeners on Spotify off the back of ‘Excessive Guilt’, and are raring to share their new collection with their Australian fans. The tour kicks off on Thursday February 6 in Perth and will journey through Adelaide, Geelong, Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle and will come to a close in Brisbane on Saturday February 15.
Thrown are undoubtedly one of the most listened to new metal artist right now, their music has consistently featured in Spotify’s Top 200 Global Metal Charts since 2022 and has placed in Spotify’s Viral Top-50 in both Australia and USA. Thrown have taken the stage by storm touring with Alpha Wolf, Knocked Loose, Invent Animate, Fit For A King, Emmure, Counterparts and many more heavyweight metal artists throughout North America, Europe and Australia.
Hailing from Hamburg, Germany, Half Me join Thrown for their first ever tour of Australia. Half Me have made an impact with their visceral sound and story. They teamed up with Void Of Vision’s Jack Bergin in 2021 on Exitwound, where the music video became a spotlight feature on Knotfest.
