Today, ARIA platinum artist Tia Gostelow releases her highly anticipated third album, titled Head Noise. The album is the follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut album Thick Skin and her equally lauded sophomore album CHRYSALIS.
The album, Produced by Chris Collins (Middle Kids/Skeggs), features ten tracks, including the already released singles ‘Spring To Life’, ‘Sour‘, ‘Early Twenties‘ and current single ‘I’m Getting Bored Of This‘ that delve into the complexities of human emotion, exploring themes of heartbreak, safety, loss, and self-discovery.

“Over the past few years, my anxiety has really affected me being able to fall asleep at night, all of the thoughts that come through can be really overwhelming, and I know I’m not alone in it. I hope in some way this album can bring a little bit of comfort to the head noise that might keep you awake in the early hours.” says Tia about the album title.
To coincide with the album, Tia has released a new music video for her current single ‘I’m Getting Bored Of This’, the track that inspired the album title. The song’s poignant theme and accompanying music video explore the struggles of dealing with anxiety after a night of drinking and the inevitable follow-on effects that occur.
Says Tia of the track, “The cycle of drinking on the weekend, feeling off all week, coming good again by Friday and then doing it all again can be easy to fall into. I get terrible anxiety after a night out and often can’t sleep the next day because my mind is racing about things I could have said or done. Don’t get me wrong, I love having a drink with my friends and going out; ‘I’m Getting Bored Of This’ is about the process of learning what my body physically and mentally can and can’t deal with.”

Tia’s 2018 certified GOLD debut album Thick Skin sent folkesque reverberations around Australia, earning her the Queensland Music Award for Album of the Year and a coveted Triple J Feature Album slot and includes ARIA certified platinum single ‘Strangers‘.
2020 heralded a new sonic direction for Tia as she uncovered the disco-pop prowess of her sophomore album CHRYSALIS which hit #1 Album on the AIR charts.
Over the last two years, Tia spent time soaking up experiences: conversations with friends, words on paper, and of course, an endless stream of playlist choruses.
With the release of Head Noise, Tia is poised to take her career to the next level and cement her place as one of Australia’s most exciting artists.

AMNPLIFY – ML
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
