Melbourne based DJ, producer and radio host, Tiff Cornish steps on the sonic gas pedal with her new high octane ‘Dance Maniac/Burden’ EP, in addition to announcing her signing with Club Sweat! Non-stop levelling up her production, this punchy double A side invites you into Tiff’s modular playground where unique synthesis and precision percussion preside. This body of work begins with ‘Dance Maniac’, an ode to the hedonistic catharsis found in techno since its birth. Complete with entrancing spoken word and rhythmic bell tones to build tension, the essence of the rave is encapsulated.
Transporting you to the deep depths of the vaults of Europe, ‘Burden’ couples a driving acid groove with uplifting vocals that are bound to get the dance floor heaving. A 90s flavour half-time breakdown filled with energy inducing string stabs and an intoxicating breakbeat truly sets this off. In before the drop where a face melting synthesiser enters, emblematic of the greatest of drum solos, where chaos will ultimately ensue and the visceral effects of a Tiff Cornish record will have you moving in overdrive.
Speaking of the EP Tiff notes it is “infused with vintage vocals & energic synthesisers. Inspired by the rebellious, in a means to push the realms as an artist and what I was begging to explore.”
Tiff Cornish is no stranger to the dance floor with unique, floor stomping releases that push the boundaries of dance and channel the inner raver in everyone. The explorative nature and refinement of her production has caught the ongoing attention of triple j Unearthed with recent releases ‘Rotate The Cylinder’ and ‘Love At The Discoteque’ both receiving additions to the station, with the former hitting #1 on the triple j Unearthed Dance Chart. Not to mention garnering support from Home & Hosed, Friday Night Shuffle and Richard Kingsmill, as well as receiving high praise from Kiss FM and Select Radio in the UK. In 2020 Tiff’s heater ‘Baile Disco’, via ATN Recordings, jumped to #10 on the ARIA Club Chart and #2 on the triple j Unearthed Dance Chart.
From the early afternoon to the wee hours of the morning, Tiff Cornish knows how to work a crowd. The infectious energy in her sets has earnt her supporting slots for industry heavyweights such as Dom Dolla, Rebuke, Torren Foot, Hayden James, Audiojack, Superflu and wAFF, to name a few. Not to mention 2022 has seen Tiff join the lineup for the iconic Peggy Gou at her Piknik Electronik show in Melbourne, and on the last leg of Ben Bohmer’s Australian ‘Begin Again’ tour. As one of Melbourne’s most in-demand electronic acts it’s no surprise that Tiff has also curated mixes for Deep House Amsterdam, Magnetic Magazine and triple j Mix Up. The sky’s the limit for Tiff Cornish, and she is showing no signs of pumping the breaks.
‘Dance Maniac/Burden’ from Tiff Cornish is out now via Club Sweat.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
