TIM FREEDMAN
More dates added to the
Solo Tour 2020

Due to popular demand and a border opening, Tim Freedman has announced more dates on his impending solo tour, scheduled to coincide with the release of The Whitlams’ first new single in 14 years, “Ballad of Bertie Kidd”, on October 30.
Tickets are on sale now from HERE
In Sydney, Freedman has sold out four shows at Camelot Lounge, and so is now adding a marquee event – the City Recital Hall to play on his birthday Wednesday 25 November. On the North Coast of NSW, after selling out the Byron Theatre, he has added the Kingscliff Hotel to the run.
South Australians too will be delighted to hear that Freedman can now visit the Gov in Adelaide and Rockford Winery in the Barossa in early December.
“Ballad of Bertie Kidd” is a six minute crime caper that sits immediately with the classics of The Whitlams’ repertoire, and is their first new song since 2006. As the track begins, Freedman is cornered by a Rabbitohs fan at the pub who relates a tale that only the patron saint of hapless criminals could have dreamt up.
Bert Kidd, subject of a plan to deport him at the age of 81, and still considered dangerous by police at the age of 87, is a notorious safe cracker and career criminal who was released from jail two years ago. The question will be asked, “Why was the botched robbery in the song not included in Bert’s three volume autobiography?”
The Whitlams’ 2020 national tour sold out multiple shows soon after going on sale, with the Enmore Theatre adding a second show within two weeks. All dates have been rescheduled to August and September 2021, and the time off has allowed the band to write a new album, due for release in mid-2021.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
