“This track demonstrates Lee’s affinity for restraint, using space and silence like the powerful tools that they are to emphasize the high points.” – DANCING ASTRONAUT

“The Korean-American producer has once again created an extensive textural soundscape, giving life to the ethereal, dream-like melody that is “Love That Never”.” –  FLAUNT

““Love That Never” is a chilling, lo-fi instrumental that draws on influences from hip hop and artists like Slow Magic or Odesza in the details.” – YOUR EDM

Following a tremendous year that includes the release of her Young Art Records project Young Art Sound II, a Grammy nomination, and a multitude of festival performances around the world, revolutionary LA based producer TOKiMONSTA releases her brand new single Love That Never. The single is lifted off her upcoming release which is set to drop in 2020 and is accompanied by a pastel-hued animated visual by Sydney-based studio Babekühl (Free Nationals, Zeds Dead, Havana Brown). TOKiMONSTA will returning to Australia and NZ at the end of the month for a quick run of festival dates including Origin Fields, Field Day and Let Them Eat Cake.

“Entering a new stage of my life, I realized how multifaceted love is.” TOKiMONSTA says of Love That Never “It is this beautiful overwhelming sensation that fills us up but can also leave us empty and bare. This song is a personal reminder that if we foster our own intangible love, we will always be fulfilled. The video is a depiction of our solitary journey to that place deep inside us that is a well of pure joy.”

Over the last 10 years, TOKiMONSTA has made an indelible mark on electronic music, and on pop culture at large. TOKi has paved a path for herself that’s entirely unique, connecting dots across fashion, film and art along the way. Her critically acclaimed 2017 release, ‘Lune Rouge,’ was officially nominated for a Grammy Award as 2019’s Electronic Album of the Year. Not only the first Asian American producer to ever get nominated in the Grammy Electronic category, she was also the very first woman producer to do so.
