TOM BUSBY’s
epic adventure
.
.
After 15 years of writing, recording, and touring with his award winning duo Busby Marou, Tom Busby has decided the time is right to record his debut solo album. If this wasn’t exciting enough, he is recording the album in Texas with legendary artist/producer Ben Kweller at his Dripping Springs studio ranch just outside of Austin.
Adding to the excitement, he will be joined by his wife Huma and four kids Winfred, Marigold, Henrietta and Herbie on this most excellent of adventures. Huma has deep family ties in Texas and this family trip was always part of the plan.
Turns out that Ben Kweller’s studio is quite close to Huma’s family and friends which made this adventure a no brainer. Well, except for the challenges that come with travelling with four kids under 8 but hey, that’s all part of the adventure.
Tom and Ben have decided on the direction and backbone of the album and most of the songs that will be included. The most striking point of difference is the directness of the lyrics. Tom had a hell of a year in 2023 losing his Dad, best mate and patriarch of the thing he loves most which is his family unit. The songs that Tom has written come directly from the depths of his soul with absolutely no filter.
Everything about this adventure is built on love and healing and friends and fans will be brought into the inner sanctum of the family adventure and recording process.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
