About TOMMY MARSH
Tommy Marsh, is a 21-year-old rapper/singer-songwriter from Maslins Beach. Tommy’s been writing his own songs since he was 9, and performing live is his absolute favourite thing in the world. The energy from an audience enjoying his music is an incredible feeling that he cherishes.
Starting out in a creative school, Tommy was fortunate to unlock his musical talents at a young age. His big dream? To make a positive impact through his music, motivating others to make positive changes in themselves and the world around them.

About ‘SURF CT’
“In high school I would write rhymes and poetry in my spare time, but it weirdly never really occurred to me that I could use it in my music. This song being one of my heavier rap songs takes shine away from my usual singing vocals but is brightened by some witty bars telling a story about myself and some things I did growing up, like getting bullied and playing sports but not letting it get to me until I found my thing.
The hook of the song is talking about Surf Court which is the street I grew up on, and how it’s on a steep hill. I have a lot of memories of people tripping up walking down so real ones will understand that part of the song.
I was asked a lot after I dropped my first EP ”when are you going to start telling us some things about you?” So I want to dedicate this song to all my friends who think I need to rap more about me.”
