Australia’s favourite pizza guy, Touch Sensitive aka Michael Di Francesco, today makes his highly anticipated return with energetic new single & accompanying visuals “G.A.L.” feat. Daniel Wilson, out via Future Classic. The single marks the producer’s first new music release since last year’s widely acclaimed debut album, Visions.
The track’s infectious rhythms & accompanying VHS-pastiched visual ignite the body for an exhilarating slice of Touch Sensitive at his finest, showcasing the producer’s signature bass and disco-house nods. Co-piloted by soulful vocals courtesy of Daniel Wilson (most known for his collaborations with The Weeknd and Joe Goddard), the fresh offering results in a dizzying ride and worthy soundtrack to any sun-drenched summer dance floor.
“G.A.L.” arrives in the wake of 2017 debut album Visions, which collectively clocked over 25 million streams, rave reviews from Rolling Stone, Herald Sun, The Age and scored Touch Sensitive a sold-out national album tour. The certified Gold lead single “Lay Down” debuted at #1 on the Hype Machine Charts and landed the #31 spot in triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown. It was followed by irresistible cuts “No other High” feat. Electric Fields and “Lose It All”.
Since the release of his 2013 breakout single “Pizza Guy”, Touch Sensitive’s inimitable ear for contemporary grooves fused with classic disco has quenched cravings across the globe. An enduring festival favourite, the producer has electrified stages at Splendour in the Grass, Listen Out, Field Day, Laneway, Mountain Sounds, Beyond the Valley, and soon adds Falls Festival stops in Byron Bay, Lorne, Marion Bay and Fremantle to the list. A debut US tour with his full live band earlier this year cemented an expansion to international acclaim, following supports for RUFUS and Flume and a string of headline shows and US festival appearances.
