For ‘LAY DOWN’

After the recent return to the spotlight with his eclectic single “Lay Down”, Touch Sensitive is now ready to bring his infectious tune to life with the perfect visual accompaniment, honouring its wistful melody and swaggering bass line.
Created by Lost Art (who have previously worked with the likes of The Avalanches, Love Deluxe, XL Recordings & Apple Music), the “Lay Down” video is made up of over 100 different scenes, featuring a montage of monochromatic imagery and various fonts, triggered by the changes in the music and lyrics. Inspired by Prince’s iconic “Sign ‘O The Times” film clip, the complexity of the images build as the song does & the video’s vintage NTSC style effects is sure to be appreciated by any late 80s/early 90s lover.
“Lay Down“ saw audiences welcome back the dance-floor maestro with open arms; it’s blissful, uplifting melodies soaking tastemaker blogs both nationally and overseas, driving it to #1 on the Hype Machine charts and racking up over 1 million impressions globally.
Touch Sensitive has just finished taking “Lay Down“ around the US, performing headline shows as well as support sets with Flight Facilities and Flume. With more music on the way, a US tour under his belt and a brand new live show to unveil in September at Listen Out, this feels like just the start of what Touch Sensitive has in store for 2017.
