Hot on the heels of his sophomore LP Everyday which was released in February this year, UK-based GRAMMY winning producer and composer Tourist (of Run / We Stayed Up All Night notoriety) has just unveiled his new single Bunny. The stirring and evocative new track is the second single to be taken from his forthcoming album titled Wild, the second LP set for release this year. More details will be announced very soon.
Bunny begins with a floating vocal line and a glistening arpeggio as a muscular beat builds around the track. “I find the process of writing to be an endlessly enjoyable pursuit.” says Tourist (William Phillips) “My new resolve is to share as much music as possible with people. “Bunny” is a term of endearment for the woman I love, and also my new single.”
Prior to the release of Bunny, Tourist revealed Elixir [watch the Dillon Moore directed video]and announced a fresh run of UK/EU & US dates including supports for Bonobo and Rufus Du Sol. Tourist was just in Australia earlier in 2019 for a string of sold-out East Coast headline shows as well as stand out sets at Pitch and Days Like This festivals.
Tourist’s critically acclaimed and triple j feature album U (2016) came following a GRAMMY win for co-writing Sam Smith’s breakout single Stay With Me. Previously he’s released four EP’s include a self-titled debut (2012), Tonight (2013), Patterns (2014) and Wash (2017) with lead single We Stayed Up All Night feat. Ardyn becoming a radio favourite and remixing artists like Christine & The Queens, Wolf Alice and Chvrches.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
