Town Folk Festival returns to Djaara / Castlemaine on Saturday 15th November with yet another impressive lineup of local and international music, this time led by Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, who will return to Australia with their much-celebrated catalogue of indie anthems as well as 2025’s career-defining self-titled album.
Also featured atop of the list is genre-defying singer/songwriter Meg Washington, Yolŋu surf-rock powerhouse King Stingray, cult Zambian psychedelic rockers WITCH, and legendary Indigenous Australian band Pigram Brothers, making their way down from Broome to Victoria for the first time in 15 years. Meanwhile, the ever-unpredictable sharp wit of Dan Kelly’s Regional Crisis and soul-psychedelic collective JAZZPARTY will headline stages 2 and 3.
Further down the list are two internationals, twanged-out Portland rockers Jenny Don’t & The Spurs and the Californian psych-folk of Sylvie. Plus plenty of local acts including Annie-Rose Maloney, Charm Of Finches, Cool Sounds, Didirri & Rowena Wise, Ella Thompson, Hana Stretton, Jerome Blazé, Merpire, Mika James and Milly Strange.
Performances will take place across three beloved local venues — The Bridge Hotel, Boomtown Winery, and Shedshaker Brewery — with each stage offering its own unique atmosphere, as well as a Main Stage on the grassy Sunken Oval at the centre of it all. Town Folk’s signature multi-stage, multi-venue format invites audiences to roam between sites, discover new artists, and experience Castlemaine’s arts and hospitality scene.
Festival-goers will have the option to camp or to travel stress-free with a dedicated festival bus service running return trips directly to Castlemaine and back. Easy access via V/Line train services also makes day-tripping simple from anywhere on the line.
Maintaining its family-friendly spirit, Town Folk Festival will feature kids activities, food trucks, craft beer and regional wines, and welcoming spaces for music lovers of all ages. A notably accessible festival experience, the single-day festival allows punters to choose their own musical adventure.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
