TRASH BOAT

‘DON’T YOU FEEL AMAZING?’

UK-based quintet Trash Boat, have releases their long-awaited new album ‘Don’t You Feel Amazing?’. Alongside the LP, the band have released a new single featuring labelmate Kamiyada+ “Alpha Omega (Feat. Kamiyada+)”
.
.
Speaking on the new song, vocalist Tobi Duncan shares: “I typed out a long and pointless description of what Alpha Omega was really about but after reading it back I decided against it. It’s a song about a fucking idiot, that’s it. We all know one and we all know what we want to say to them.
I was in pain, he couldn’t fix me. He resented his inability to be a successful surgeon and therefore resented me. I wasted time letting him tell me what I needed until it was too late. He told me if I didn’t listen to him there was nothing more he could do. He was right. Fucking idiot.”
On the full LP, Duncan adds: “The album itself is unapologetic and candid wherever it goes. I’ve taken a far more direct approach lyrically and want to leave little to the imagination. We are exposed to so much of the world everyday now, to comprehend everything going on today is too much for any one person. It’s all inconsistent and overwhelming. Each song represents my frustration, desires, struggle, hedonism, pain and redemption while being bluntly honest about each topic.”
The St Albans outfit enlisted the help of diverse voices to complete their new album, with guest appearances from Hip Hop firebrand Kamiyada+ and Wargasm’s Milkie Way.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
