announces special edition of
Ausmusic T-Shirt Day
on Friday 17 April

With gigs and festivals being cancelled around the world, many of the artists we know and love are doing it tough right now. To help support artists, triple j is holding a special edition of our annual Ausmusic T-Shirt Day on Friday 17 April.
Plus, we’ll be playing Australian music all day across the ABC’s networks including triple j, Double J, triple j Unearthed, ABC Radio, ABC Country, ABC Classic and ABC Jazz.
Buying merch is one of the most immediate ways of getting money into the pockets of your favourite artists, so that they can keep making the music you love.
We know many people are doing it tough right now, but if you can afford it, head to your favourite Australian artist’s website to order one now so you’re ready to wear it on Friday 17 April. If you’re looking for some inspo, jump online to the Sound of Silence website.
And if you’re not in a position to buy a new tee, chuck on some old merch to show your support!
Then show us your best looks online with the hashtag #AusmusicTshirtDay.
Ausmusic T-Shirt Day started in November of 2014 as a part of triple j’s annual Ausmusic Month. Since then, it has turned into a huge nation-wide celebration and is a highlight on Aussie music-lovers’ calendars.
This year we are bringing you an extra Ausmusic T-shirt Day because now is the time to wrap our arms around the Australian music industry and let them know we’re here for them during a time when they can’t make a living from playing live.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
