Summer Concert Series starts Friday…with food trucks and multiple bars!
Tickets: twilightattaronga.org.au
The 2018 Twilight at Taronga Summer Concert Series begins this Friday February 2!
Celebrating summer and live music at the ultimate Sydney Harbour destination, for the first time Twilight at Taronga will have multiple bars and food trucks on the concert lawns to make the most of your experience.
Six shows during the series have already sold out, and final tickets to the opening weekend of The Jezabels supported by Stella Donnelly on Feb 2 and Dan Sultan plus The Teskey Brothers on Feb 3 are selling fast.
With unparalleled views of the Sydney Harbour skyline at dusk, Twilight at Taronga is the best place to watch an incredible line-up of artists at an all ages show as you enjoy a sunset picnic.
Available on the concert lawns during Twilight at Taronga’s 23rd year will be the following culinary line-up:
Belvedere Bar/Belvedere Spritz – Premium cocktail bar
“Light up the night” with this series of twelve natural and deliciously refreshing long drinks full of fruity flavour, with a sparkling finish, made fresh to order.
4 Pines Bar
This local craft prodigy is featuring at our Beer Tent with supporting acts from some of your old favourites, Wild Yak, Pure Blonde and Corona to name a few. No better way to experience the Twilight concert series than with a summer ale in hand.
The Lawns (The Bakehouse Bar)
This Wood Clad bar is situated in prime location to quench you thirst while still enjoying the show. Here you will be able to enjoy a large selection of wines or even sip on some refreshing Froze. This is also where you collect your gourmet hamper and can dine on the lawns while enjoying the show.
The Food Trucks
This year we have introduced a real “food hub” with offerings inclusive of Sliders, Burgers, Burritos and Nachos all on The Concert Lawns! There will also be access to Premium Scoop Ice cream with a revamped version of all your favourite ice cream flavours and if you are in need of a pick me up, fresh made espresso will also be available from our artisan Baristas.
Fish Stop
A selection of fresh seafood will be cooked from the grill and served with your choice of chips or salad. This little hub will also cater to your drink needs offering up hot beverages if the night turns a little chillier, as well as non-alcoholic refreshments.
All tickets to Twilight at Taronga include free same-day Zoo entry, as well as free public transport: return ferry travel from Circular Quay from 5.15pm, bus transfers from Taronga Wharf to the main Zoo entrance, and post-show buses to Spit Junction and Mosman.
All proceeds from Twilight at Taronga – ‘Concerts with a conscience’ – go back into Taronga’s ongoing conservation work.
Twilight at Taronga supports Wildlife Witness, a global campaign that aims to raise awareness about the $19 billion annual illegal wildlife trade, and empower people to take action against what has become the fourth most lucrative transnational crime after drugs, arms and human trafficking.
