UNIFIED Music Group is pleased to lift the lid on a slew of announcements under its Artist Management pillar. Alongside the reveal of new a management signing in  (pictured), UNIFIED can also divulge the appointment of Ashleigh Hills co-running the Artist Management pillar alongside Jaddan Comerford. In addition, the company has also brought on two new artist managers, Sarah McMillan (Slowly Slowly + Batpiss) and Lauren Poulter (Vance Joy + Bloods).

Essie Holt is one of the brightest pop sensations to burst out of Melbourne of late. Her project is set to swell to even grander heights, with the release of her striking new single ‘Give Me The Night’ alongside the announcement that she will commence management at UNIFIED. Essie will be managed by Eddie Deal, who also handles the careers of Trophy Eyes, John Floreani and CLEWS. The artist explains that partnering with Eddie and the wider UNIFIED family was “a complete no-brainer”, as a shared passion and vision for her project was palpable. In other exciting news, Essie Holt joins UK folk-pop darling Nina Nesbitt as the main support on her Australian tour kicking off this month.

Elsewhere in the UMG Artist Management camp, Ashleigh now joins Jaddan in co-running this pillar of the company. Since beginning at UNIFIED in 2017 as Jaddan’s assistant, Ash has had a front row seat in watching the mechanics of a worldwide music company at work. With previous management experience under her belt and a sting to get back into the seat, she took on the promotion in mid-2018.

“I’m very happy to be running the management pillar with Jaddan,” says Ash, adding: “When discussing a management company the focus is usually on the artists. We are fortunate enough to work with incredible artists, but we’re also fortunate to work with incredible talent in our Artist Managers. It’s mine and Jaddan’s job to nurture this talent and to ensure there is enough support to continue to build on our internal network of Artist Managers and in turn, our current and future artist roster.”

The company is also pleased to officially welcome artist managers Sarah McMillan and Lauren Poulter. Sarah started with A Day on the Green, and then moved over to Premier Artists which saw her at The Mushroom Group for over 10 years. Sarah joins UNIFIED Artist Management with Slowly Slowly and Batpiss under her wing.

“Ben (Stewart) worked for me at A Day on the Green and used to play me (Slowly Slowly) demos on the drive out to the wineries,” she explains. “Instantly I could see how talented he was, the world needed to hear it.”

After four years of management and development, Sarah has clocked up some massive wins for the band, including support slots on Red Hot Chili Peppers and Amy Shark’s Australian arena tour this month, and a spot on the coveted Splendour In The Grass lineup this year.

Lauren joins UNIFIED off the back of running her own Artist management company. As well as bringing Bloods into the mix as a management signee, she rounds out team Vance Joy alongside Jaddan and Rachael Comerford and assists in managing the singer-songwriter’s day-to-day happenings and building his global business.
