One of the world’s most exciting and progressive music festivals – Unsound – will return to Adelaide from 14-16 December 2018.
After 4 years within the Adelaide Festival program and last year’s successful 2017 event as a standalone festival, Unsound Adelaide returns to the Queen’s Theatre on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 December. The festival will feature Adelaide-only exclusive performances by international artists.
Unsound is a festival focussed on presenting avant-garde electronic music and art that began in Krakow, Poland in 2003. Now in its 15th year, Unsound has grown to be one of the world’s most adventurous music festivals – with Adelaide being the only Southern Hemisphere event.
This year’s Unsound Adelaide also sees the return of the late night club shows – to be held at Sugar on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 December.
The successful Discourse Program presented by The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre, UniSA will continue to be a vital part of the weekend during the day on Saturday 15 December and Sunday 16 December – offering a chance for the audience to interact with the artists. Admission will be by free registration, stay tuned for program and session details.
The State Government of South Australia, through the South Australian Tourism Commission and Events South Australia and Arts SA through the Music Development Office, is a major partner of Unsound Adelaide.
Pre-sale full festival passes are now available for Unsound Adelaide subscribers – pass includes access to both nights at the Queen’s Theatre and both club nights at Sugar on 14 and 15 of December.
