Vermantics have signed with Auric Entertainment/Reynolds for the release of Rome, the band’s latest single, distributed by Universal Music worldwide, will drop on July 8 2022. The track, written and recorded by the Melbourne-based rock band, explores contrasting emotions and captivating melodies to engage their audience.
Forming in early 2021, Vermantics originally consisted of Adelaide brothers Stefan (vocals/guitar) and Daniel Fedele (bass/BVs). Pursing their career in music, the brothers moved to Melbourne and teamed up with guitarist, Jack Stevenson, and drummer Julian Perrotta, the two also being Adelaide locals. Their final member, Damian Rustico, is a Melbourne local and multi-instrumentalist, who makes up the fifth member of Vermantics.
Rome, drawing influence from the band’s Italian ancestry, is about the back-and-forth thoughts of a breakup, between regret, wanting them back, to know there’s no hope. At its core, the moody energetic rock track, mixes 70’s inspired harmonies with modern pop-rock elements. Rolling guitars and a relentless bass line propel the song towards an explosion of soaring vocal melodies and bright harmonies.

The single follows on from, the release of the band’s 2021 Volume I and II collection, their debut music video Chained and a sold-out show at Adelaide’s Fat Controller earlier this year.
To support the release of Rome, Vermantics are performing two headline shows in Melbourne and Adelaide. The first on July 29 at Penny’s Band Room and the second at Low Life Bar on August 12, 2022.
Vermantics are forming a strong team behind them with the support from Auric Entertainment/Reynolds and Universal the band is on the trajectory of making some serious noise in the music industry.
