Reveals Details of 2018
HARD YARDS PROGRAM

Victoria Bitter has proudly confirmed the return of VB HARD YARDS for 2018. Staunchly backing live Aussie rock, Hard Yards will head on tour this year, inviting bands to earn a spot in the tour van for four massive gigs throughout October.
Bands from Queensland, ACT, New South Wales and Victoria are offered the opportunity to be paired with massive local headliners in some of Australia’s finest venues, all the while enjoying the trials, tantrums and tribulations of touring through Melbourne, Sydney, Newy and Brisbane.
Ross Knight (Cosmic Pyschos) explains…

It’s hard work for touring bands. Booking supports, venues, lighting, logstics, luggage, and even just establishing an audience for your band in different cities, is no easy feat. But VB are going to give three young bands the chance to get a bit of help with load in… so to speak
Bands can visit www.victoriabitter.com/hardyar ds to enter. Entries close July 15
Audiences will be invited to vote on shortlisted bands in July before Hard Yards’ full lineup is announced in August. Hard Yards winners will also receive $5,000 in cash along with pre-paid rehearsal room hire, to help limber up for some live music.
