With just days until Australia’s most exciting new festival Wanderer kicks off, the incredible event set-up is well under way – the big tops are up, the fields glistening green, menus planned and artists enroute as excitement and anticipation surges through the region. The natural beauty of Pambula Beach is set to be enjoyed to its full potential next weekend, with an immensely favourable weather outlook of beautiful clear days and crisp, fresh nights.
The recent declaration of Thursday 22nd Sept as a national public holiday – on top of Friday 23rd already a Victorian public holiday – has sparked a flurry of festival travellers wanting to start their Wanderer experience early. Organisers have announced they will throw open the gates to the new Oaklands Campground at 3pm on Thursday 22nd. Whilst the campgrounds on the main site will remain closed until 9am Friday 23rd, those with onsite camping tickets are welcome to start their festival journey at Oaklands. Thursday night camping will be available and free to anyone with a camping ticket and festival ticket that is valid for Friday.

A pop-up cinema screening the critically acclaimed ‘Hunt for the Wilder People’ – a quirky, funny, poignant adventure infused with sharp dialogue, charismatic characters and a keen sense of wonderment set in the magical New Zealand countryside, as well as all-time favourite Happy Gilmore, will keep campers entertained as they start their Wanderer Festival journey one day early.
Earlier this week Wanderer Festival released single day tickets for the Festival’s opening day on Friday 23rd September in addition to the 3 day, 2 day and Sunday only tickets which are still available. The opening night of the festival is headlined by The Teskey Brothers – renowned for their live performances infusing soul and blues in a way that is both raw and anthemic. Also starring on opening night are Jack River, Josh Pyke, Alice Ivy, The Vanns, The Dreggs, Hayley Mary and more. Saturday highlights include Ziggy Alberts, Confidence Man, Wolfmother and Curtis Harding. AFL fans will be well catered for with a big screen televising the game; hot pies, cold beers and the best entertainment you could hope for. Meanwhile The Dandy Warhols, DMA’s and Sarah Blasko sit amongst an epic closing night line-up. The Arts program is not to be missed with each day brimming with a stellar offering of circus, comedy, theatre and more.

Businesses in the local Bega Valley region are thrilled with the boost to business after enduring successive years of devastating impact from bushfires and pandemic restrictions. The Sapphire Coast is famous for its vibrant and creative culture as well as wild coastline, secluded beaches, pristine estuaries, native forests & ancient landscapes; it’s also been a magnificent start to the humpback migration season, which sees around 40,000 whales journey south to their feeding grounds in Antarctica.
Located halfway between Sydney and Melbourne and just a three-hour drive from Canberra, the Sapphire Coast remains one of Australia’s truly pristine yet accessible destinations, and the people of the region are ready to welcome a huge influx of visitors for Wanderer with open arms!
Demand for tickets is strong – grab yours now from www.wanderer.com.au. Tickets range from single day to a three-day festival pass, visit the website for further information.
Wanderer Festival, September 23-25, is proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
