All Shows Selling Fast!

With less than a month (eep!) until Adelaide’s West Thebarton finally let their debut album outta the bag, and after nabbing fellow suburban heroes Pist Idiots for their national tour support, Thebbies have invited some seriously sweet local openers to join the party…

Proceedings kick off in Wollongong with atomic-surf-noise-rock project White Blanks, before bolting up to Sydney to play with emotional guitar-pop quartet Sunscreen, then finishing the NSW trifecta with Newcastle’s Blue Velvet. Melbourne’s Self Talk will warm the stage at the NSC, Perth’s happy emo veterans Last Lions are getting things started at Badlands, Flowermouth will take care of things in Freo, and Deluso in Brisbane. A double whammy from Stork and Wing Defence will close out the tour in their hometown of Adelaide!

Pre-orders for their debut album Different Beings Being Different and tickets for these shows are flying out the gate. Get ’em while you can, folks!

West Thebarton are a seven-headed soul-rock hydra, straight outta Adelaide, this slightly-slack true-blue rock septet are into having a real good time. Led by charismatic leader figure, gravel-voiced frontman Reverend Ray, West Thebarton have spent the past few years honing razor sharp riffs, sticking them soundly to seriously tight melodic tones, and careering into bars, festival bills and best of lists.

Their life affirming anthems Moving OutBible Camp and new single Stuck On You have enjoyed a fair thrashing on triple j over the past 12 months, and they’ve already won over a ton of unsuspecting new fans on tour with Polish Club, plus NYE on the Hill & Falls Festival in Byron and Lorne. After capturing the attention of Violent Soho’s James Tidswell the band have scored themselves a juicy record deal from his new label Domestic La La, and have committed their suburban homilies to tape. Their debut album, Different Beings Being Different will be unleashed on May 18 and will see the band touring nationally before heading overseas for a string of debut festival appearances in Europe.

Hear it. Feel it. Love it. Remember it. West is the best!
