We’ve said it a few times, and we’ll say it again – the West Thebarton wagon is gaining speed and there’s no stop in sight for Adelaide’s pride and joy. With their debut album Different Beings Being Different only a month away from release and a huge Australian tour to follow in June, it’s only fitting that this 7-piece party machine is taking suburban heroes Pist Idiots along for the ride.
Pist Idiots are from the south-west Sydney suburb of Revesby, and after an unlikely beginning (forming as a kind of joke band for a competition) they’re taking Australia by frenzied storm. The idiots’ve been making serious waves over the past few months, scoring a slot on Sydney City Limits line-up as the triple j Unearthed winner, and rallying around the east coast tour with fellow punk rascals Mini Skirt, Dumb Punts and Charging Stallion. Having already shared stages together, West Theb and Pist Idiots are certified suburban soulmates. BFF’s bringin’ the big riffs and good times to your town.

Oh! and in case you missed it, West Thebarton have been added to one of Australia’s most boast-worthy festivals Splendour In The Grass 2018. Joining international acts such as Lorde, Kendrick Lamar and Vampire Weekend, Australian rising stars Gang Of Youths, Hockey Dad, Alex Lahey and heaps more, West Thebarton are now undeniably ranked amongst our most promising exports. Not that playing UK mega festivals Reading and Leeds didn’t already confirm that, but y’know…

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
