Whatslively launches new version of app.

Popular concert tracker service – Whatslively has made a major upgrade to its concert tracker app. The app originally launched in 2014 is now used by over 30,000 Australians, helping punters get alerts for concerts from their favourite artists and equipping them with comprehensive concerts listings for their area. The upgrade the Whatslively team are calling “Whatslively 2.0” is promising an improved way of discovering new live music experiences.

“We’ve spent the last few years observing how our users use the app and have developed a whole new interface to make it easier to find and manage your gig life”, says Whatslively co-founder Trishanth Chandrahasan.

The upgrade also has brand new features like the ability to select more than one city in Australia to get concert alerts for as many punters live in regional centres and are willing to travel to multiple cities to see their favourite bands. Or unfortunately live in cities that don’t have many artists touring and would like to get alerts for other cities too (an all too common problem). The new version also has a search tool giving you the the ability to instantly search for any artists’ Aussie tour schedule or upcoming festival, with just a tap of a finger. The Whatslively team admit this upgrade took some time but are promising more quicker updates going forward.

“We know 2.0 was a long time coming but we promise we have a lot in our arsenal now, and will be rolling out new features a lot quicker from here on out,” says Trishanth.

Whatslively is a powerful mobile app that aims to get Australians out to more live music. Founded in 2014 and passionately driven by this vision of “more live music”, Whatslively has become the favorite gig discovery app for thousands of young Australians.
