Rising duo WIIGZ are set to whisk you onto the catwalk with their new single and video ‘Lifestyle Of A Supermodel’. Today they announce their debut EP Songs To Catwalk To will be released on Friday November 17th (via Dew Process) and share the news their impressive musical prowess and wild stage presence will be hitting stages in Sydney and Melbourne for headline shows.
With their distinct blend of exuberant pop sensibilities and underground edge, ‘Lifestyle Of A Supermodel’ acts as the perfect kooky track for the Brisbane/Meanjin best friends. Conceptual, witty and hot, the track was written by WIIGZ – aka Hannah Brydon and Zoë Hilditch – with good friends Aunty Nathan adding toplines and TEJAVU (James Halstead) on board to co-produce with Zoë.
WIIGZ explain, “We were yet to create a commanding track and this one fit right in. The concept of this song was influenced by ‘Fashion Blogger’ – RHYME. We love the bouncing bassline that drives the verses and the tongue in cheek lyrics. The 303 bassline was a last minute addition and it was the first sequence we selected. We were mind blown because it’s so perfect.
The lyrics are essentially describing what it’s like to be a WIIGZ supermodel, “I’m rocking hairy pitties, bitch you don’t wanna flirt”. The story then follows Zoë discovering this new model (Hannah) and they join forces to take over the fashion industry… just look at the EP cover art and you’ll see it yourself.”
In a year marked by a resurgence of fun and playfulness in music, WIIGZ’s Songs To Catwalk To stands as a resounding affirmation of the need for pop music that’s made for pure escapism.
In a short amount of time, WIIGZ has gone from a bedroom project to something far bigger. Their visuals have consistently gotten more ambitious, from their recent ‘French Tips’ video to today’s self-directed ’Lifestyle Of A Supermodel’ official video, filmed by Finn Mullen.

As Zoë describes, “We just wanted to make pop music… we’re pretending to be pop stars by being pop stars.” This conscious playfulness breathes life into their sound, creating a dynamic sonic landscape that oscillates between vibrancy and enigma.
Alongside their music, with a background in film, fashion, graphic-design, photography, and creative direction, the front women incorporate a ‘hive-mind’ approach to the WIIGZ project allowing them to put their everything into it.
They have not only crafted their own distinctive sonic identity but also caught the attention of listeners and curators alike. Their music has graced Spotify playlists such as Fresh Finds, Hot Girl Shit, House Special, Vibe Check and New Music Friday, Apple playlists such as New In Pop and New Music Daily and radio stations triple j, 4zzz and FBi Radio. Their ascent has seen them grace the stage alongside the likes of Sofi Tukker, Wolf Alice, and Client Liaison.

‘Lifestyle Of A Supermodel’ arrives ahead of WIIGZ’ run of live shows and festival appearances.
Fans can catch WIIGZ at Golden Age Cinema & Bar in Sydney on Friday Oct 13th and at Yah Yah’s in Melbourne on Friday Oct 20th. They will also be performing at recently announced festivals, Yours & Owls, Great Court and Spilt Milk (Gold Coast) playing new songs from their EP as well as fan favourites ‘Red Hot Pants’ and ‘Bitch Shit’.
