This week punk rock band WISHFUL THINKING announced the release of their new song YOU CAN, the release of which will coincide with their upcoming national tour in June 2021 with Melbourne punk rockers Drastic Park. Lead singer Carl W. Jackson said of the song, ‘You Can is about the pressure of trying to live up to the expectations of others. It’s about the realisation that sometimes we place that pressure on ourselves. It’s about seeing others and believing that somehow they have a perfect life when in reality they’re barely getting by. Just like us.’
