Jacqui Louez Schoorl, CEO & Co-Founder of Jaxsta, said, “By signing up to Jaxsta Pro, artists, songwriters, producers, engineers and session musicians can claim their profile page on Jaxsta.com. We’ve already populated their page with their credits, and by adding their bio, image, social links and contact details they will have the ultimate resumé and promotional tool to demonstrate who they are, what they’ve done, and why people need to work with them. When this cloud lifts and creatives are properly able to get back to work, they will have a tool ready to help them get hired again or promote recent and upcoming projects.”

Questlove said, “Records don’t happen by magic. They happen because of people: singers, musicians, engineers, producers, and a million other unsung heroes who are instrumental in making the music that you hear. I always thought that someone should create a database that links the people to their credits, so that the right people get credit. And now Jaxsta has.”

Rita Wilson said, “I am proud to be working with Jaxsta – this giant database of official music credits. As songwriters and artists, it’s important to receive proper credit for songs we’ve written, co-written and released, because it helps people find our music. In an age where it’s become increasingly more complicated to find credits, lyrics, and more, Jaxsta has made it your one-stop place.”

John Hanes said, “While we toil away in our writing rooms and studios, the world searches for who we are and what we do. Searchable online credits are your modern business card, your discography, and your introduction to the wider world. Jaxsta Pro is a place where the people of the music business can connect your musical contributions to you, explore your musical world, and contact you to connect.”

Emily Lazar said, “There’s a lot about Jaxsta I love, but one of the biggest things is its Chart Alerts. For me as a mastering engineer, to see where and how my work is charting is a game-changer and being a Jaxsta Pro Member gives me easy access to information.”

Michael Huppe, President & CEO of SoundExchange said, “In an industry defined by creativity and collaboration, Jaxsta provides essential information that helps ensure music creators receive the value and credit they deserve. The music community needs more companies focused on critical meta-data. I applaud the Jaxsta team for making this bold move at a time when music creators need all the support they can get.”

Jeremy Sirota, CEO of Merlin said, “During these challenging times, Merlin is pleased to support this initiative on behalf of our members and their artists. Jaxsta offers fans a unique window into the people behind the recordings by providing accurate attribution. Music lovers can now discover and learn more about the engineers, producers, mixers and others that contribute to the music.”

Portia Sabin, President of the Music Business Association said, “In the digital era, it’s more important than ever before that creators get properly credited for their work. From musicians to engineers and producers to record labels, being properly credited ensures that people get the income that they earned, and Jaxsta helps make that happen. They also provide a service for the industry as a whole to quickly find information about a given release, all in one place.  Jaxsta is truly the credits solution the music industry has been looking for!”

Dean Ormston, CEO, APRA AMCOS said, “Jaxsta is a champion of music creators, whether high profile, emerging, or behind-the-scenes, and this premium offer to music industry professionals will undoubtedly open up new opportunities for creators to connect, to be discovered and to be further acknowledged for their work.”

Dan Rosen, CEO, ARIA said, “It is critically important that for each creative project the contributors are acknowledged and recognised. In the streaming era where liner notes are no longer part and parcel of the music discovery process, the Jaxsta offering provides a simple online means to do exactly that.  It should become an essential tool both for dedicated music fans, and for those who make music their business.”
