Praise for JAN JUC MOON
4.5 Stars – Rolling Stone Apr/May Issue “…powerful compositions that sees him working with the likes of J-MILLA or the Slabb Brothers—Jan Juc Moon is one of Xavier Rudd’s most resonant albums to date.”
4 Stars – The W.E. Australian “Jan Juc Moon is the calmest, most centred version of Rudd’s music that we have heard. Confident, compelling and completely satisfying, it effortlessly takes its place as one of his best albums so far”.
Double J – Feature Album of the Week – W/c 28 March 2022 “Ten albums in, and Xavier Rudd is still finding plenty to be inspired by. There are a few new sounds and moods going on, but hasn’t changed is the ultimate intent and result; this is another Xavier Rudd record made with great heart”.
THISISDISTANT.COM “His music alone is enough to induce an out of body experience, paired with his magical onstage presence and eclectic range of instruments that he plays as if they are an extension of his soul, a Xavier Rudd experience is something that needs to be witnessed by all “.
Jeff Jenkins – STACK Magazine – April issue “The beauty of Rudd’s work is that he can sound cruisy even when addressing serious issues. The result is a hypnotic collection, both soothing and searing”.

“Xavier Rudd bought everyone back down to earth…”. Beat Magazine Bluesfest wrap live review
“Barefoot and wearing a red jumpsuit, Rudd radiated a Zen like- calm up there, as though there was nowhere else he was meant to be”. Andrew McMillen – The Australian newspaper.
Xavier Rudd recently added five more dates to his already massive national tour now taking the tally to 38 shows. Said to be the biggest tour of the country undertaken by an Australian artist the Jan Juc Moon album tour is in the middle of performing 38 shows across all corners of the country between the dates of May 25th and July 30th 2022.
One of the new additions is the show at Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide scheduled for later this week on 25th June. [See full tour dates below.] Once completed Xavier Rudd will commence his international tour taking in 18 countries with sell-out shows already in Antwerp, Amsterdam and Belgium.

Three singles proceeded the release of Jan Juc Moon and have yielded over 12 MILLION streams worldwide. With the release of the album streams continue to gain momentum and show no signs of slowing down with a clear sense of the ground swelling for the magic that is Xavier Rudd live on stage.
Joining Xavier for the full national tour will be support act Marlon x Rulla a dynamic First Nations duo who burst onto the scene in 2020 performing on some of the nation’s biggest stages – opening for Midnight Oil at WOMADelaide, rocking Bass in the Grass in Darwin, Party in the Apocalypse in Tassie and wowing 30,000 fans at the AFL’s Sir Douglas Nicholls round. It’s no surprise given their energetic live show, that Rolling Stone have said “the group not only cemented themselves as one of the most monumental names on the bill for the evening, but set themselves aside as a pair of artists that you not only should, but undoubtedly need, to pay attention to as their career continues to rise.”
The tour named after Xavier Rudd’s tenth studio album Jan Juc Moon debuted on ARIA’s album chart at No. 6 and No. 1 on the A.I.R. album chart has been positively received by the industry and punters alike.

About XAVIER RUDD:
Acoustic guitar in hand, engulfed by an ever more complex scaffold of didgeridoos, percussion and various eclectic instruments, Xavier cut an utterly unique and compelling figure as the world warmed to his first indie albums of the early 2000s, Live In Canada, To Let and Solace.
“When I first got successful, I was surprised, because I thought what I was doing was more like art,” he says. “I was experimenting with didges and gaffa-taping them to chairs and I always had this real love for wood and the tones of wood, so it was all very earthy.”
In the studio, his instinctive beginnings would gradually yield the more purposeful and crafted likes of Spirit Bird, Nanna (with 9-piece band the United Nations) and Storm Boy. His seven official live albums are eclipsed by countless bootlegs swapped by fans from Argentina to the Czech Republic, serving to double his audience on each return.
Today, Xavier’s relentless upward arc is among the most astounding success stories of our time. Over 20 years of touring, his Canadian shows have grown to 2500 capacity halls; in the USA to 10,000, including a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2018. Through Europe, he plays to 2000-6000 fans per show. From the Netherlands to Japan, he regularly commands festival crowds in their tens of thousands.
Countless more celebrated acts have come and gone like fireworks as his campfire steadily grows: a beacon to the kind of music fan that seeks sustenance in a fast-food world.
“I value the simple things in life,” he shrugs. “I value community, culture, our connection to the earth as human beings. I don’t care too much for the other stuff. I think the roots of who we are, and what our ancestral lines are and how those stories have shaped us are the most important things. And I guess I always celebrate those things in my music.”
“I’ve been this long enough to realise that for some people, what I’m saying in my music really resonates,” he says. “You know, all of our ancestors around the planet have come from some form of struggle and we carry that, all of us, years on. We’ve all got stuff to heal. And I think music is the greatest medicine on the planet.”

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
