Sydney based songwriter and producer Yoskos in the Cosmos has just released his new single ‘Aways On My Mind’, which premiered exclusively via Backseat Mafia.
He has also announced a limited run of tour dates to celebrate his new release.
“Written, produced, and mixed by me in my bedroom. The song was mostly written in a quick moment, reflecting on a relationship that had fizzled out. I was feeling sentimental about it and regretting not letting her know how I felt before it was too late. The second verse came to me when I noticed she had left her necklace at my place and wondered what that meant, and when I’d give it back. It’s a very simple song to relate to.”
Yoskos in the Cosmos channelling elements of Pop Punk, Classic Rock and Psychedelic Dance to create his unique brand of genre-bending music.
Having collaborated with many upcoming local acts in the studio like Micra, Sparrows, Silky Roads, Tuppaware Party and Supahoney, Yoskos has sculpted a unique path through the music industry, amassing more than a million Spotify streams alone for his productions.
Yoskos in the Cosmos released his first single ‘Lost In My Mess’ in December 2023. The single was premiered, and rave reviewed on AAA backstage which led to a sold-out single launch at Petersham Bowling Club.
New single ‘Aways On My Mind’ is available is available on all online streaming services.
