[Tuesday, August 23] Today, Inner West icons, Young Henrys, announce the takeover of Petersham’s historic institution Public House Petersham for PHP Carpark Skate Jam, on Saturday, September 24. Set to be a day of grindin’ rails, flowing beer and pumping live music, PHP Carpark Skate Jam will be hosted by George Richards alongside reigning QLD state Skateboarding League Champion and proud Young Henrys ambassador Aimee Massie, with special appearances from local legends Lady Lyon and Gloomie.
Taking place on the last weekend of September from 2pm onwards, Public House Petersham’s car park will be transformed, decked out with rails, ramps, a BBQ and tinnies galore. On hand to host throughout the day, Aimee and George will have an itinerary of events for punters to enjoy while Young Henrys has the refreshments drinks covered. With a BBQ fired up for the occasion, the Young Henrys pop-up tinnie bar will be serving fan-favourite frothies; from the classic Newtowners to the newest addition to the core range, the Hazy Pale Ale.

Casting a spotlight once again on the best local talents, Young Henrys has enlisted local legends Lady Lyon and Gloomie to provide killer tunes throughout the afternoon. Bringing their certified brand of lush, cowgirl-blues, Lady Lyon will be taking centre stage providing the perfect backdrop for grinding rails, following the nostalgic tones of Gloomie’s dream-pop aurora resonate throughout the Petersham carpark.
