Taking its live music offering on the road once again, today Young Henrys reveal Best Served Loud will grace the stages of Byron Bay’s The Rails every Saturday throughout April. Continuing to spread good vibes, great beer and community spirit with kickin’ tunes, Young Henrys have gathered Aussie’s best local talents including Peach Fur, Pandamic, Full Flower Moon Band, Le Shiv and loads more.
Young Henrys will also be shouting your entry, as well as the Karma Keg pouring at the bar, with proceeds going towards those affected by the floods.
Kicking things off on Saturday, April 9th are glittery disco grooves from the brothers of Sugar Soap, before Gimmy Flowens, the solo project of Northern Rivers artist Gemma Owens embarks on a garage, folky-pop inspired adventure into the night. Next up is the sound of the 6-piece neo-psychedelic and rock‘n’roll enthusiasts from Byron Bay, The Dharma Chain. Taking over the stage last but certainly not least will be the genre-bending psych-rock flavour of Peach Fur, captivating the audience with their energetic stage presence before drawing the night to a close.

Easter weekend will be fully charged with the tradie-rock powerhouse Rash, who’ll be sure to bring the house down with their unmistakable electric energy. Born into the hardcore-punk scene are Queensland outfit Sex Drive serving up an old-school garage experience before the catchy melodies and shimmery bedroom dream-pop of Hachiku entrap the stage. Calling last rounds are the grungy-skater-punk boys from Rockhampton, Pandamic, who will be teasing some of their new 2022 music for Byron fans.
After blasting ears with their tremendous debut EP last year, four-piece punk legends POWER DRILL will heat up the stage with their full-on DIY attitude, before two generations meet one-on-one when Girl and Girl hit the stage for an unmissable performance. Cranking up the heat are the hot and chaotic pub-punk heroes of far North Queensland, Boing Boing. Next on the bill and closing proceedings as the headline act are five piece grunge-rock veterans and brainchild of Babyshakes Dillion, Full Flower Moon Band. Having teased their upcoming album Diesel Forever with a string of single releases this year, a taster of new music is on the cards at The Rails on Saturday, April 23.
Joining the gang of talented Aussie acts are no other than fellow four piece Byron Bay ensemble Mudwagon, who’ll dish out their style of psych-rock to fans before Couch Wizard cast their psychedelic spell over The Rails. Seaside continue to pump up the crowd with their hypnotic, nuanced goth-pop sound. Bringing the Best Served Loud celebrations to a mighty close, Young Henrys will be passing the mic to Le Shiv, a four piece band who have seen love from triple j Unearthed and will unravel their kaleidoscope of indie, psych-pop leaning brand of rock’n’roll to fans as last drinks are called late into the night.
Presented with local live music heroes, Tiny Minds Agency, Young Henrys’ Best Served Loud series continues to champion emerging and established acts from across Australia whilst bringing its much-loved community together.
With free entry and Karma Keg frothies at the ready to help out our mates affected by the floods, don’t miss heading to Byron Bay’s The Rails for an iconic night of live music, flowing beer and true Australiana tunes.

About Young Henrys
Young Henrys is a group of passionate brewers, beer lovers, distillers, musicians and artists, united for the love of good beer. Established in 2012 in the back streets of Newtown and in the hearts of lovers of music and art culture all over; supporting grassroots community through major festivals and cultural institutions.
AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
