Young Henrys and Jameson Whiskey invite you and your mates to a one-night-only stand-up comedy event in November, the Comedy Rock Show. Taking place on Thursday, November 26 at Sydney’s Factory Theatre, expect to loosen up with a killer lineup of Australia’s best stand-up comedic talents.
Lightening up the end of 2020 after a tough year, one of Australia’s best comedians, Becky Lucas, will be starring on the stacked Comedy Rock Show lineup. Quickly exploding onto the comedy scene in 2013, Becky has been serving some serious stitches with her quick wit and unceremonious punchlines and continues to be a crowd-pleaser both nationally and on a global scale. Next up will see John Cruckshank taking centre stage. Making huge waves on the national comedy circuit with his clever, sharp and well-paced jokes, John’s laid back approach will leave viewers banging out the laughs.
.
.
A well-seasoned act, queen Gen Fricker will also be joining the lineup. Sardonic, unique and downright weird (in the best way…), Gen is best known for her time on triple j and is now taking Australia’s comedy arena by storm. A rare blend of sassy and dark stand up delivered with a butter-wouldn’t-melt smile, Gen is a must-see bag of laughs whether that’s with or at her. Following suit will be Sam Taunton. One of the most exciting new voices in Australian comedy, Sam has been making the nation laugh since 2017 with his captive storytelling and quick-fire punchlines. As one of the most in-demand acts in the country, be sure to not miss him at the Comedy Rock Show this November.
.
.
Rounding out the lineup is Dan Rath. A cult comedian set to ignite the stand-up floor, expect Dan’s comedic satires to flow thick and fast, dishing out jokes that will leave the audience feeling better about their own lives. Last but not least is comedic character Heath Franklin. Going by his stage name “Chopper”, he has done it all from touring the world with his sell-out shows to having his own TV sketch, “Chopper’s Republic of Anzakistan”. A true comedy talent, Heath promises uproariously entertaining comedy leaving many with good gags by the end of the night.
Adding to the night of comedy will be music intermissions from Sydney-based trio, Baby Beef. Known as “ABBA for millennials”, Baby Beef will be weaving enchanting theatrical elements into their powerful stage show as they keep the momentum going throughout the evening.

Oscar McMahon from Young Henrys say: “Together with Jameson, we’re summoning the powers of comedy and live music to provide the perfect remedy for this very moment in our lives. We want to invite our Sydney fans out for a good time over a Newtowner and a Jamo and to lose themselves in a hilarious and fun night.”
Helen McAleer, Jameson Brand Ambassador says: “We’re stoked to be joining forces with Young Henrys on this one. There’s no better combination than a Young Henrys frothy with a Jamo tinnie. Throw in some quality comedy makes for the perfect way to spend a Thursday night.”
Young Henrys and Jameson Whiskey are proudly supporting live music, comedy and the arts with the arrival of the Comedy Rock Show. Inviting fans for an evening of comedy over a freshly cracked tinnie is the perfect gateway into the summer season.
Tickets will be on sale from Tuesday, November 3 at $27.50 (includes 1x Young Henrys and 1x Jamo tinnie), with all proceeds going towards Save Our Stages NSW, a cause dedicated to giving support and relief for struggling live music spaces, such as the epic Factory Theatre. About Jameson
In 1780, John Jameson established a way of making Irish whiskey that we’ve been proudly sticking to ever since. As you can imagine, producing a whiskey that has been enjoyed for over two centuries, takes a lot. But don’t worry, we’ve distilled over 200 years of courage, craft and a collective appreciation for taste, into each and every bottle. The secret behind our signature smoothness is our process and our people. Triple distilled, twice as smooth, one of a kind. First, we take the best of pot still and fine grain whiskeys. Then we triple distil them – not because we have to because we want to as it gives it its signature smoothness. Finally, we age them in oak casks for a minimum of 4 years. Why do we do all that? Taste, that’s why. Best served over ice with dry ginger ale and a squeeze of lime.
Enjoy Jameson Responsibly

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
