Yung Gravy dropped Marvelous on 28 October via Republic Records, ushering in Gravy’s most monumental era yet – and we get to see it live, alongside some of the freshest names in Australian music.
At just 22 years old, Mason Dane’s energy is unmatched. The master of many is a self-taught songwriter and producer known for working alongside some of Australia’s best up-and-coming talent: think Manu Crooks, Blessed, Hooligan Hefs, Day1 and loads more. Determined to put his home of Newcastle on the musical map, Mason doesn’t shy away from melding a mix of influences into his avant-garde sounds.
Mason’s already-impressive discography features both hard-hitting bangers and vulnerable pop moments, proving that he’s a versatile artist willing to experiment. In what was a huge year, 2022 saw the release of the wild T-Mix of ‘DASH’, a hip-hop heater that features the legendary T-Pain. This marked a monumental turning point for Mason, and as T-Pain puts it on the track, “America & Australia, we got floor seats, now we sit together”. Catch him alongside Yung Gravy at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre!
In a brief period of time, KANADA THE LOOP has become a name on the lips of tastemakers and music fans alike.
Emerging in 2021 with a sound and aesthetic encompassing a fusion of subcultures that instantly turned heads, the South Australian artist wasted no time in using the momentum to his advantage; turning the buzz around debut release ‘ZOOM IN’ into concrete impact by the time sophomore release ‘Y U NO LIKE ME’ dropped in the second half of the year.
Unbothered by musical boundaries, KANADA THE LOOP has continuously kept audiences on their toes throughout 2022. Sharing the EP’s first single ‘Blurr’ back in September and following up with ‘Nuh Uh’ and most recently ‘Grease’, KANADA has continuously turned heads with a sound and aesthetic that is so uniquely his own. On TOYOTA RECKLESS, KANADA weaves through a multitude of genres with ease, arriving with a 5-track journey that pairs his immense lyrical and production talents with intriguingly chaotic pop culture references.

Weaving threads of witty lyricism through notes of introspection and heartbreak, CHISEKO unapologetically creates a zealous new dimension on Australia’s musical spectrum. Characterised by honest confessions and vivid metaphors, CHISEKO captivates his listeners with refreshing lyrical talent.
Simultaneously playful and heartbreaking, his lyrics touch on the universal aspects of the human experience, making his discography feel like a returning home. With the infectious groove of Anderson Paak, the buttery flow of KAYTRANADA and the ease and comfort of artists like Q-tip and Cordae, CHISEKO crafts an addictive sonic experience. Perth, he’s coming your way with Yung Gravy on Friday 17 February at the Astor Theatre!
Rapper Ronnie Sinclair and beat-maker Shan are the duo behind SAFETY CLUB. Known for their distinct flavour of upbeat hip hop, the duo create electrifying beats that have been likened to the symbiosis of Kaytranada, Vince Staples, Amine and BROCKHAMPTON.
While Shan’s production takes cues and sensibilities from Chicago hip-hop drip, Ronnie Sinclair’s sultry RnB vocals result in something that sounds like the offspring of Anderson.Paak and Zack Fox. Dive into their debut single ‘JUICE’ for a track that oozes charisma with punchy, yet silky-smooth lyrical moments. Catch them with Yung Gravy at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday 18 February.
Armed with incendiary bars and unparalleled wit, the fast-rising Melbourne rapper Babyface Mal has been steadily turning out singles alongside iconic visuals for the last three years. The Turkish-Egyption MC has been writing songs for as long as he can remember. He recorded his first released track with John Nelson, co-founder of 66 Records at the age of 17. Now signed with 66 Records, the Melbourne-based and African-owned collective that includes names like BBG Smokey, Lil Jaye and ECO$YSTEM, Babyface Mal has turned to more collaborative efforts. Working alongside Lil Sknow on the track ‘SKNOWAY (Party In The Trap)’ and Meanjin producer/rapper Nerve on ‘SuperHero’, the former of which landed on his massive release ‘TIME OUT’ and consequently secured BM’s place on the local hip hop map. Head to Melbourne’s Forum to catch him with Yung Gravy on 19 February.
Yung Gravy wrapped up a 29-city, co-headline tour of North America with bbno$ in December, and now he is ready to hit our shores next week! With most shows sold out, secure your spot on the gravy train by jumping on final tickets now!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
