Ethereal Artist, Singer/Songwriter and Producer ZOE from Earth releases her third single, Horizon, off her upcoming Sun EP.
The new track signifies a key moment in the artist’s journey, stepping into the role of producer during production. A moment that has led to the creative direction of the SunEP and future albums.
Horizon is an etheric, atmospheric, space-pop track that was inspired somewhat by the book and film The Great Gatsby which had come into focus in pop culture during the years prior to the writing and production of Horizon.

“I wanted to read the book before watching the film that people were talking about at the time” ZOE from Earth reflects, “and it was one of those stories that stays with you. Gatsby is always looking out at this light, and it dawned on me that I’d been doing this, in a way. It felt like most people were, as if we’d all been led into this somehow. I used a similar metaphor in Horizon, but it’s a conversation about being honest about whether or not you’re ‘missing the moment.’ In that way, it plays on the concept of time too. I made some production decisions in order to make it sound like it’s almost ‘ahead of time,’ so it almost sounds as if key moments are happening sooner than the ear might expect.”
Horizon is a stand-out track inviting us to reflect on our relationship with the moment, look at what we’re seeking and ask ourselves if what we’re looking for in the distance is actually right here, right now?

Artist Biography
Refreshing optimism and radical hope echo through the music of ethereal artist ZOE from Earth. Her sonic worlds came about through exploring the edges of everywhere and finding a world in need of reimagining, and the songs to do that.
Her prominent vocal has been compared to the likes of Kate Bush, Stevie Nicks, Adele and Lana Del Rey, whilst her production leans into sonic world-building inspired by influences including Deep Forest and Enya.

ZOE from Earth’s songwriting journey began very young, at a suburban home in Perth. Surrounded by a family whose music taste spanned many genres, ZOE from Earth began writing songs influenced by this musical tapestry as young as age five.
Singer-songwriter turned troubadour turned producer-artist-visionary, armed with a collection of songs and a gentle, yet powerful presence, the now Queensland based artist ZOE from Earth is one to watch.
