CLOVES explains,“’Bringing the House Down’ is about being in a relationship that isn’t giving you enough real emotion. Half the problem we had was we would never argue, there wasn’t enough fire to force anything to happen. Everything about the relationship was placid and that was extremely frustrating and uncomfortable for me.”

Rechtshaid comments, “When I was first introduced to CLOVES, I heard a demo of ‘Bringing the House Down’ and I was blown away; super classic voice and the ability for classic songwriting, yet the desire to push forward.”

CLOVES has already garnered the attention of fans and critics alike. Following the release of her EP, XIII, Noisey recognized the “lovelorn timelessness to her voice,” while Pigeons & Planes raved, “if the voice doesn’t get you, the lyrics will. CLOVES is aiming straight for the heart with her music, and she’s hit the mark every time.”  The young talent has been steadily building momentum around the globe with her passionate and “honey-dipped” vocals (Idolator) that have been compared to the likes of Adele and Amy Winehouse.

CLOVES “emotionally complex” (Flaunt) artistry is striking for its maturity and depth. Only twenty-one-years-old, her delivery is subtle yet powerful. Her musical evolution establishes her as a force to be reckoned with. CLOVES kicked off 2018 with performances at Sundance, “an attention grabbing” set at Billboard’s “Industry Nights” showcase and “Roots Jam Session” in New York City during Grammy Week.
