When I was first listening to the new track, I wasn’t expecting much as I haven’t really been fond of Louis’ vocal abilities throughout the years. However, the song starts off with Bebe singing about her frustrations with Louis and the suspense of the piano instrumental in the chorus absolutely sparked a huge appeal within me. Louis sings back in the second verse by responding to Bebe’s lyrics and I was pleasantly surprised with his vocals.

The slow and sensual melody of the track combines the two artists voices together exquisitely. The lyric war between the opposed lovers complements their vocal potentials perfectly with the nature of the lyrics proving to be quite relatable to anyone who’s experienced difficulties in a relationship. The two artists explore the themes of heartbreak and struggle effortlessly as they fight the urge to return to each other in this gentle pop duet that’s bound to be a hit.
