The forefathers of Sweat It Out, the global tastemakers, and house aficionados, Yolanda Be Cool are back from a season in the states with the summery Latino vibes still running fresh through their veins. Teaming up with Portugal’s finest producer Massivedrum, Yolanda Be Cool have delivered the next floor filling gem they’ve been teasing for months – ‘Hacia La Noche’.

Taking cues from the vivacious musical cultures of Colombia and South America, ‘Hacia La Noche’ fuses together traditional Cumbian music with classy modern beats. The literal translation predicting the effects of club revelers near and far – “into the night”.

As Matt and Andy explain, “We wanted to make a song we could play at our PLAY IT COOL parties we hosted over the summer in LA. It was on a rooftop pool on Sundays in Hollywood and we felt that this tune really summed up the vibe of the parties. Since then, we’ve been testing it at all our shows and it never disappoints so can’t wait to get it out there.”

Renowned for finding the beauty within obscurity, juxtaposing old and new, Yolanda Be Cool have become infamous for their creative use of samples, which has led to international success on singles ‘We No Speak Americano’, ‘Sugar Man’, “From Me To You” and ‘Soul Makossa’ which collectively, amounted to number ones in over 20 countries, many platinum records including in the UK, German and Australia as well as 3 Beatport number ones.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.

Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.

Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.

Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
