The song continues to dominate charts around the world as it has since being released on 8 January. With Rodrigo at #1 on the Singles Chart and The Kid Laroi topping this week’s Albums Chart, it’s only the second time in ARIA Charts history that artists under the age of 18 have topped both charts. The last time was in April 2019 when 17 year old Billie Eilish topped the Singles Chart with ‘Bad Guy’ and the Albums Chart with When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

#4: Tones And I ‘Fly Away’ – Moving up two spots to #4, Tones And I’s ‘Fly Away’ takes out a new peak. It comes in the single’s 12th week in the Top 50.

#7: SZA ‘Good Days’ – After dropping out of the Top Ten last week, SZA’s ‘Good Days’ jumps up the chart five spots to hit a new peak at #7. It’s also hit the Top Ten in the US and New Zealand.

#8: Tiësto ‘The Business’ – Climbing five spots to #8, ‘The Business’ becomes the second career Top Ten entry for Tiësto after ‘Red Lights’ (#8 Jan. ’14). It’s the Dutch DJ/producer’s first ever #1 in his homeland.

#14: Doja Cat ‘Streets’ – Three weeks into its run in the Top 50, Doja Cat’s ‘Streets’ climbs 13 spots to claim a new peak at #14. The move makes the track the second-highest solo peak reached by the American after ‘Say So’ (#4 Mar. ’20).

Albums Chartifacts:

#1: The Kid Laroi ‘F*ck Love (Savage)’ – The Kid Laroi makes ARIA Charts history as he hits the top spot with F*ck Love (Savage). At 17 years, 5 months and 22 days, the Sydney rapper becomes the youngest Australian solo artist to hit #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, taking the record from Delta Goodrem who charted at 18 years, 6 months and 20 days in 2003. The Kid Laroi’s first mixtape debuted at #3 in August 2020 under its original title, F*ck Love. It returned to #3 in November of the same year after the re-titled deluxe edition F*ck Love (Savage) was released. It hits #1 for the first time in its 28th week in the Top 50. The release has also gone Top Five in the US and Top Ten in the UK. The Kid Laroi becomes the second male indigenous solo artist to top the chart after Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu went to #1 in April 2018 with Djarimirri (Child Of The Rainbow). F*ck Love (Savage) singles ‘Without You’ and ‘So Done’ sit at #3 and #9 this week, respectively.

On hearing of his #1 ARIA album, The Kid Laroi said: “Wow, this is insane. #1 in my own country means more to me than anything in the world. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and been with me through all of this. I love you all and I can’t wait to see you all again soon.”

Annabelle Herd, CEO of ARIA, said: “Huge congratulations to The Kid Laroi on hitting the top of the ARIA Albums Chart. This is an incredible feat for an artist of any age and, with audiences around the world embracing his music, it is obviously just the beginning.”

F*ck Love (Savage) is the third Australian #1 album on the ARIA Charts in 2021.

#9: Barry Gibb ‘Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers’ Songbook’ – Barry Gibb’s former chart-topper re-enters the chart for a third week, hitting #9. In the time since Greenfields topped the ARIA Albums Chart, it went to #1 in the UK and #15 in the US. When the album went to #1, Gibb became the oldest artist to hit the ARIA Albums Chart: he was 74 years, 4 months and 17 days old.

#18: Arlo Parks ‘Collapsed In Sunbeams’ – British singer-songwriter/poet Arlo Parks makes her ARIA Charts debut with Collapsed In Sunbeams. Parks’ first album comes after she released two EPs in 2019 and was awarded BBC Introducing Artist of the Year in 2020.

#31: Violent Soho ‘Everything Is A-OK’ – Violent Soho’s fifth album returns to the chart on the back of the release of three limited edition vinyl pressings. Everything Is A-OK, the band’s second chart-topper, spent one week at #1 in April 2020. It tops this week’s ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart.

#43: BlackPink ‘The Album’ – On the back of its first issue on vinyl, BlackPink’s The Album heads back into the Top 50 at #43. The group’s debut Korean-language studio album peaked at #2 on release in October 2020.
