with new single
‘IF YOU SAY SO’

The Dead Love have done nothing but rise throughout 2020 and 2021.
After a sold-out national headline tour in November 2019, a successful 2019 UK/EU trip alongside ROAM & With Confidence (UK), festival slots at BIGSOUND 2019 and Party in The Paddock 2020, and plenty of opportunities to play locally alongside prominent acts like The Story So Far (US), Basement (UK), DZ Deathrays, Stand Atlantic and Yours Truly, it’s a pretty safe bet to say that The Dead Love are turning heads.

It’s notable for an independent artist to manage to hit the covers and international playlist spots of Spotify’s Pop Punk’s Not Dead, New Punk Tracks, Amazon Rock (UK), Rock Out, Local Noise and many more – but The Dead Love did it twice, with recent singles ‘My Friends’ and ‘Small Talk’, ‘All For Nothing’ also nailing Triple J spot rotation and Unearthed rotation, respectively. Their 2019 album ‘The Extinction of Unicorns’ was released by US label Adventure Cats Records, and garnered acclaim both domestically and around the globe, with extensive airplay on radio stations triple j, FBi Radio, Triple M and many more.
The Dead Love have today released their first single of the year 2021. Following ‘All For Nothing’ comes ‘If You Say So’. A song that communicates frustration of having the same conversation again with a generation that doesn’t understand the state of our current climate.

Quote:
“I guess the band and I feel hella passionate about preserving the planet we live on and not trashing the joint. Just felt right to write a song about something that is so current and important to us as individuals. A particular phone call triggered me so hard, I couldn’t sleep for almost 48hrs it fully f*cked me up!”
“I’m exhausted from having the same conversation, triggering the same anxiety, as I’m sure most of us are. I want to make sure that I’m doing the best I can to advocate in the right places.”

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
