Beware! Mornington Peninsula four piece Teenage Dads are hungry. They’ve been feeding off their audiences all year and are ready for more. More music and more shows.
Vince, Connor, Angus and Jordy love the stage so there’s no better place than to road test their new single ‘Teddy’, released today. With its frenetic synth, driving guitar, thumping drums and chorus that had fans singing on first listen “Somebody banging on my old door…..Teddy doesn’t live here anymore!” It past the test.
‘Teddy’ tells the story of someone running away from their responsibilities. Teddy decides to take on the cops for a crime he’s committed rather face the consequences. Spoiler alert…..the cops catch up with poor old Teddy. Check out the animated video for ‘Teddy’ below.

‘Teddy’ follows Teenage Dad’s April release ‘Exit Sign’ and 2021’s lauded ‘Club Echo’ EP. The band are preparing more songs for a wider release soon.
Teenage Dads reputation as one of the most exciting new bands to see live keeps growing with every show. Having already performed to some of their biggest audiences ever as special guest on good mates Lime Cordiale’s tour earlier this year, the band’s own ‘Exit Sign’ tour saw packed rooms across Australia. Next is the massive Spacey Jane ‘Here Comes Everybody’ Tour where Teenage Dads are special guests. The tour started on 5 August in Perth at RAC Arena and then headed to the east coast with multiple shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Teenage Dads will celebrate the release of ‘Teddy’ with their own headline tour through September and October with shows in many regional towns including Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Maroochydore, Ulladulla, Wollongong, Castlemaine, Ballarat and Scarborough in WA as well as Canberra in the ACT. Full dates are below with tickets on sale now.
Teenage Dads are pretty excited for what’s ahead for 2022 and commented “This year has easily been our busiest yet with plenty more to come. Playing ‘Teddy at our recent shows has really been a highlight. The Spacey Jane tour next month is going to be so pump. We can’t wait for these headline shows plus Springtime festival and BIGSOUND too! Mega.”

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
