Puerto Rican hitmaker Jhayco unleashes the next installment of his “Vida Rockstar” szn with the release of a new single “Holanda.” The latest offering from the artist, songwriter and producer is a futuristic track that showcases Jhayco’s transformation, alongside a NAVS-directed music video set in the post-apocalyptic city where Vida Rockstar takes place. Jhayco’s seen taking flight as he morphs into a bat, the animal species that coinhabits Vida Rockstar with humans, and he then encounters a holographic woman of his own creation – watch here!
The track was written and produced by Jhayco and Haze at the House of Haze Studio in Puerto Rico during the Reyes Magos holiday. Surrounded by friends and beautiful landscapes, “Holanda” takes on a different life – one that’s dark and gritty, but has its share of bright and crisp moments.
Continuing to put women at the forefront as his muses, the latest “Holanda” follows Jhayco’s spicy summer anthem “Mami Chula” with Quevedo that serenades to the coolest girl in the room – scoring attention from tastemakers like Brooklyn Vegan who noted the smash as a “catchy, hard-hitting reggaeton banger.” In another recent release, “Cuerpecito” Jhayco pays adoration to women’s bodies. Jhayco’s previous collaboration with Sech and Feid, “En La De Ella,” boasts 31 million video views.

Jhayco’s summer has been hot, jumping on collabs with co-luminary Tainy (“FANTASMA | AVC”), Duki (“RoCKSTAR 2.0”), Haze (“En To Lao”), and KARBeats, Yan Block, and Omar Courtz (“Donde CRJ (Remix)).”
Jhayco will showcase all the new music on his “Vida Rockstar Tour” kicking off on September 28th and headlining sixteen major US cities through December 10th, including Boston, Newark, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Seattle, Denver, San Jose, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Atlanta, Orlando, and Miami. Earlier this year Jhayco made a surprise appearance at Coachella set for a trio of songs during Bad Bunny’s historic set. Together they performed their super-hit “Dákiti” that previously took the duo to the #1 spot on Billboard’s Global 200 chart. They also performed their smash collaboration “Tarot” and Jhayco’s remix of “No Me Conoce” that recently hit 2 billion YouTube streams.
Jhayco scored two Latin American Music Awards nominations this year for “Best Artist (Urban)” and “Best Song (Urban)” for “Sensual Bebé” which cemented the top 10 of the US Latin Airplay chart last year, honoring the Puerto Rican polymath testing the limits across a wide range of reggaeton and latin trap sounds and seamlessly bridging the connective tissue between the genres. Jhayco also landed a recent third career American Music Award nomination for “Favorite Male Latin Artist” and stunned at the award show performing a medley of singles, “Sensual bebé” and “Dákiti” – stream the performance here!
Jhayco (@jhayco), formerly known as Jhay Cortez, is a leader of the new generation of Latin artists. With over 16 billion combined streams, and media accolades across the likes of Rolling Stone, Complex, LA Times and many more, the trailblazing Puerto Rican artist has helped shape the landscape of Urban music today; scoring success on a solo level buoyed by cosigns via global superstar collaborations with talent including J Balvin and Bad Bunny, as well as his work behind-the-scenes as a producer. Jhayco presents a new generation of the urban scene, crafting an international sound for the latin genre and taking it to global stages for his diverse and continually growing fanbase.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
