Melbourne based singer/song-writer Misha Bear will release her new single ‘Playground of Youth’, along with a new video on December 10.
The single is the first offering from her forthcoming album ‘SUPERFLOWER’, which will be released in early 2022.
Bear creates a truly stunning brand of music by artfully blending elements of Indie, Pop and Electronica.
‘Playground of Youth’ is a fun, catchy song about the transition from party girl to mum, and the convenience of the whole world shutting down at exactly the same time as Bear was required to stay home with her newborn baby – or is she just thinking about herself again?!
‘Playground of Youth’ is available December 10 on all major on-line stores.

BIO
Misha Bear is a multi-talented artist from Melbourne, about to release her 5th studio recording.
New technology is allowing Bear to push the boundaries of super-modern music, while enjoying the influences of past decades.
Her own style has been evolving since 2014 when Bear released her first EP, Mouche. Bear followed this with three more releases in quick succession (Ladybug, 2018; Stories, 2019; and Heart Gallery, 2020).
SUPERFLOWER, coming out in early 2022 will be her 5th studio release, and her second full-length album with multi-instrumentalist and producer David Herzog. Together with Herzog, Bear creates a hybrid genre combining elements of indie, electronic and pop. Bear’s love of 80s and 90s music shines though in the progressive, synth-laden songs that have catchy, mainstream appeal.
Bear writes directly from the heart, turning raw emotions into melodious and memorable pop tunes. She expresses her journey from single girl to new mum, and how the Pandemic affected her life at this time.
Bear’s career is forging ahead as a solo live act, as her powerful voice carries her heartfelt lyrics right into the hearts and minds of her captivated audiences.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
