Apple of the Isle, Nuria, delivers an elegant, heart-swelling and passionate slice of alt-pop with new single and video for “Noise”

Tasmanian indie-pop singer songwriter, Nuria, is starting 2020 with a bang with her newest single, “Noise”, the fourth single off her upcoming debut album.

The punchy electro pop track explores discord in relationships and how we can channel this into sound and let our worries dissolve into music. With production work by Alice Springs based Dave Crowe (AKA Resin Moon/Sing Hum Records) this rich and multilayered track comes with Nuria’s very first music video above. Shot in the Tasmanian wilderness, the turmoil of the human inner world is depicted in this dark, moody and expressive clip.

“My music is about emotion and connection to others through shared internal experience. I want people to feel these strong human emotions when they hear my music, have an opportunity to let themselves sink into it and not be afraid…”

With three singles released in 2019, Nuria is already receiving strong Australian community radio support and has been featured on international playlists. Previously performing and releasing music under her name Anna Maynard, Nuria’s new moody and atmospheric synth-based songs bring a textured sonic depth to her former, more acoustic style. With a matured sound and emotional intensity Nuria’s new alt-pop tunes will stay in your head as firmly as in your heart.
