Beloved national music icon, Archie Roach has today shared his rescheduled NSW tour dates and due to his declining health has advised it will be his last road tour of NSW. Adding two QLD shows to the run, the tour will now take in Civic Theatre in Ipswich on April 1 and Princess Theatre in Brisbane on April 3, on sale from Friday 28 Jan, 8am QLD time. Head HERE for more information and tickets. All tickets purchased for the postponed shows will be honoured for the rescheduled dates, without need for exchange, and ticketholders are able to get a refund from place of purchase.
“This is the fourth reschedule of this tour over the past year or so. My health is my biggest challenge and coming to NSW in March/April will be my final NSW road tour. I am so grateful that everyone has held onto their tickets waiting for these shows to go ahead. Thank you.”

A Maar Nation Elder, Archie is incredibly proud to launch the inaugural Archie Roach Foundation stage on Peek Whurrong country in south west Victoria, thanks to a very special partnership with the Port Fairy Folk Festival. Archie explains the importance and cultural significance of the Maar Nation community sharing culture which has existed for well over sixty thousand years with Port Fairy Folk Festival audiences. “For me personally, it’s huge! I was taken away as a child from my mother’s country when I was just two years old. To return to my community and be able to present our culture on the ARF Stage would not have happened if I had not found my way back to my people.”
Curated by Archie and members of the Maar Nation, the stage shines a wholehearted spotlight on both emerging and established First Nations musicians from across Australia. It will host a series of community-led traditional dance, art and songwriting workshops, curated conversations, storytelling, a yarning circle plus an on stage ‘Kitchen Table Yarn’ with Archie and some very special young guests. Hear Kutcha Edwards, Emma Donovan, The Merindas, Shellie Morris, Amos Roach, Kee’ahn, Lee Morgan, Nola Lauch, MRLN X RKM (Rulla Kelly-Mansell, Marlon Motlop and band), the Singing Our Futures collective and NT rapper J-MILLA and remote West Arnhem Land up and comers, Black Rock Band. Head HERE for information.
The Archie Roach Foundation stage is proudly supported by the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund – an Australian Government initiative.

This week holds a lot of significance for Archie Roach, with his film Wash My Soul in the River’s Flow (a cinema portrait of two of Australia’s great artists: Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter at the peak of their powers) hitting cinemas across Australia on March 10, and his career anthology My Songs 1989-2021 set for release on March 11. Happy to be as busy as ever, Archie enthuses, “I am excited to launch my career anthology, My Songs 1989-2021at the festival on Sunday and will be performing my new song, One Song with my band and special guest, Sally Dastey. And this weekend also sees the national release of Wash My Soul in the Rivers Flow which celebrates Ruby’s music and her story of the lower Murray River and Corrong.”
And Archie will be setting off on his NSW/QLD tour at the end of the month, performing sixteen dates across regional NSW and QLD in what has been announced to be his last road tour.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
