Brooklyn-based artist Chloe Lilac has released a brand new single titled “19.” The song is the latest release from Chloe’s upcoming new mixtape, due out November 19. Listen to “19” everywhere now here, which was produced by Rory Andrew (Machine Gun Kelly, ODESZA, Jaden Smith, Goldlink, Two Door Cinema Club). Watch the lyric video here.

An acutely aware scrutiny of the alarming state of the world today, Chloe holds nothing back on “19.” She details: “I wrote 19 about how scary everything’s gotten in the last two years. I really sat and thought about the state of the world and how weird and out of control everything’s become since the pandemic. I want to stress how grateful I am for my physical health and my family’s health, I’ve been very blessed throughout the pandemic thus far. There’s just so much loss that’s been happening and still happening. It’s really intense, especially being witness to all the tragedy at what seems like the beginning of my adult life.”

“19” follows the release of recent single “10 Things,” Chloe’s first release of 2021 and a bold return for the budding artist. Bolstered by a knockout official video, “10 Things” was playlisted on Spotify’s New Music Friday and saw love from outlets like MTV News, who noted, “Lilac maintains the same level of vulnerability and brutal honesty,” while EUPHORIA. declared, “this new era of music will fortify her position as one of the most exciting new talents in the alt/pop scene.”

This fall’s new singles follow Chloe Lilac’s 2020 sophomore EP, DOUCHEBAG — a fearless, anthemic collection of tracks that solidified Chloe’s place as a veritable force among rising artists. Featuring songs like “HERE’S YOUR SONG,” “MODERATION” and title track, “DOUCHEBAG,” the project drew widespread critical love from outlets like The FADERNYLONUPROXXMTVRefinery29, and PAPER.

Through the uncertainty that shadowed much of the last year, Chloe Lilac tapped into her DIY roots to self-direct and self-shoot two official videos in her Brooklyn home while in quarantine and has also asserted herself a strong activist for social causes. From taking a stand for LGBTQ rights during Pride Month (see a partnership here with Pride.com) to joining the fight for racial justice, Chloe has become a beacon of strength and a model for young women and artists.

Early 2019 debut EP, Manic Pixie Dream, kickstarted a slew of critical acclaim and streaming success. Singles “High School” and “Special” both were given Spotify ‘New Music Friday’ placement and saw critical love from outlets such as Billboard, who called “High School” “an undeniably exuberant affair.”

Following her opening performance for The Maine last night in Los Angeles @ The Fonda, you can catch Chloe Lilac live next November 4 in Nashville @ 3rd and Lindsley for ‘Tuned Into Third,’ a showcase raising money for Caring Hearts Ministries, a non-profit committed to supporting those in recovery from abuse and addiction.
