Over the last few weeks Brian Nankervis has been doing what half the world has been doing in lockdown and chatting to friends on Zoom. He’s turned it into a very entertaining show which has been going live on the Rockwiz Facebook page on Saturday nights at 8.30pm. Brian’s guests have chatted about life in these strange times, played music, and laughed along with each other. Tim Rogers, Rebecca Barnard, Tex Perkins,  Kee’ahn, Mick Thomas, PP Arnold, Vika and Linda Bull, Jessica Hitchcock, and Peter O’Doherty have all joined Brian from their homes.

This week’s guests are all based in the USA. Brian Cadd beams in from Woodstock and Anne McCue, Emma Swift, and very special guest Lucinda Williams join from Nashville. Brian connected with Lucinda recently on his Friday Revue programme with Jacinta Parsons on ABC Melbourne and she was more than happy to join in from her home to chat and play a couple of songs.

It’s pretty special, so be sure to watch on Facebook Rockwiz at 8.30pm AEST tonight.

In other news, RocKwiz returns to SBS Viceland at 7.30pm on Friday nights with the RocKwiz Salutes The Decades series – last night saw Col Joye, Katie Noonan, Joe Camilleri and Caitlin Park saluting the 1950s.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.

Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
